Kimonos - Exotic and Cute

When I think of a kimono, the first image that pops into my mind probably is a long, sheer, cardigan-type piece of clothing.

Kimonos are my best choice when I wanna try something cute and exotic.

 Kimonos are amazing. They’re perfect for warmer weather because they’re light and airy, but still cover you up if you’re chilly or you just want something on your shoulders.

They come in all sorts of beautiful patterns, and they can be worn with absolutely everything. I have a long one with fringe that has an elephant pattern, and it’s one of my favorite summer items.

Splash Color into My Life

Nail polish is one of my favorite things. It is one of the hottest and most commonly seen fashion accessories.

It has been used for thousands of years and has become an industry of its own with a whole range of accompanying services and storefronts dedecated solely to nail polish and its purveyance.

Nail polish is a great way to splash a little color into your life without being overpowering or overly strong. From delicate pinks to off-beat blues, you can find a way  to express yourself with a nail polish.

Denim horts are an essential summer staple, and for the past few seasons I’ve seen an up-trending of shorts instead of miniskirts for warm weather.

Denim shorts are not only practical but also a great basic to work with.

The great thing about denim shorts is that they can be dressed up or down, so depending on how you style the look, you can get a lot of mileage out of a great pair of shorts.

Cool White T-shirts for Summer

Next to blue jeans and Chuck Taylors, there's nothing quite as all-American as the humble white T-shirt. How can I not love it? It's versatile, it's cool, and it's a piece that's able to be worn any day of the year, in any season.

 

That said, there's something about summer that makes the white tee especially necessary, as it can anchor statement pieces such as wildly-printed shorts or colored jeans, add a casual element to silky, beaded, or even sequin skirts, or simply just convey a sense of summer ease with a pair of blue denim cutoff shorts or a basic pair of overalls.

Beach Jewelry

I would love to bask in the admiration of neighboring beach goers with a colorful friendship bracelet or chic beaded necklace. Big or small, stacked or solo, these low-maintenance add-ons give my swimsuit style that je ne sais quoi.

I'll always make sure to remove my jewelry before I hit the waves, lest my precious bauble become a castaway....

Beach Bags - Summer Essential

Well, how can I ever forget to take my beach bag with me when heading to the beach. It will be filled with all kinds of stuff, sunscreen, clothes, towers, sunglasses, etc.

Which beach bag you like most? I know I love the white one with strips. It may get dirty easily, but what can I say, I’m into it.

Lazy Afternoon

When I am spending some me-time alone at home, I don't really have to worry about how I look. I'm just lying on my bed. Don't feel like getting out of bed until noon. Then I will put up my casual clothes. Nobody is around me, and all I care is that I feel comfortble in them.

 A T-shirt and a simple pair of cutoffs. How awesome is that! Of course, I would loose that hat unless I'm going out or my friends are coming to my house.

I know, right? It is so much cuter with some simple and fresh stuff on.

Why I Love Hats? Because there are so many things I can do to make myself look pretty with all kinds of hats.

Cool Sunglasses Styles

Are you obsessed with sunglasses? I know I am. It's cool summer time, which means it's perfect time for me to try different sunglass style.

Aviator
Classic aviators are everyone's first choice, including me of course. They are easy to tell from other styles, for they have a dark metal frame and reflective or smoked lenses. The large lenses were designed to block the sun from all angles (which is why they were worn by pilots back in the day) and look good on everyone or at least almost everyone.

Cat Eye
With feminine vibes and feline prints, retro lovers should snag this style right about … Meow.

Wayfarer Style
Not sure what style to choose? With its boxy shape and super-thick frames, you can’t go wrong with a classic wayfarer style. Available in a variety of prints and colors for both guys and gals, this is a go-to for every face shape and size. Looking to nerd out a bit? Try a pair of clear lens wayfarer styles instead (without having to get all studious).

Round
To be frank, I'm not a huge fan of round sunglasses. Maybe they are just not my cup of tea. While the lenses are always round, the frames can be small or large, skinny or thick, and metal or plastic. Throw on a pair of these frames and sway to the music!

Heart-shaped
They are fun. I only wear them when I'm in a really good mood.

Bikini or Monokini

With the weather warming up, it’s time to bring out your best suits!

What’s your suit of choice: bikini or monokini?

For me, the answer is bikini.  Bikini is so sexy and not as redundant as monokini.

Monokini for sure can also be sexy. But since wearing swimsuit at the beach is your best opportunity to show off your body, which you work really hard for. Why would you want it to be all covered up?
